Hero motorcycles are one of the bestsellers in the country. Hero MotoCorp Limited is a pioneer in manufacturing two-wheelers. Their bikes, as well as scooters, are sold like hotcakes. That said, they hold a market share of 37.1% in the two-wheeler market. Hero MotoCorp Limited is also involved in manufacturing its engines and other components required in a two-wheeler. For reference, Hero bikes’ prices start at Rs 55,450 and go up to Rs 1.52 lakh for the Hero HF100 and Hero XPulse 200, respectively. These prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

1) Hero HF100: Let’s begin with the entry-level model. This bike has a 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with an output of 8.36PS at 8000rpm and 8.05Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, it gets a kick-start starting system. And it comes with a four-speed manual gearbox. 

Besides that, the Hero HF100’s ex-showroom price in Delhi is Rs 55,450, which offers only one variant.

2) Hero HF Deluxe: It has the same engine that powers the HF100. But in the Deluxe model, the peak torque is released 1000rpm earlier than in the HF100. Another difference includes a self-start variant, which the HF100 lacks. Then there is a difference in fuel capacity of half a litre and the number of colour options. 

The Hero HF Deluxe’s price ranges between Rs 59,890 for the base model, Drum Kick-Start, and Rs 64,820 for the top model, Drum Self Cast Black. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

3) Hero Splendor Plus: It is one of the top-selling Hero bikes in India. There are several variants of the Hero Splendor. The entry-level Splendor is the Splendor+. The Splendor Plus’s price starts at Rs 70,408 for the base model, the I3S Drum Self Cast. And it goes up to Rs 72,728 for the top model, the I3S Drum Self Cast Matt Shield Gold. 

As for specifications, it has a 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with an output of 5.9 kW and 8.05 Nm of peak torque.

4) Hero Electric AE-47: Hero MotoCorp Limited has several electric bikes and scooters that may make their debuts this year or later. And this naked bike is one of their upcoming Hero bikes in India that may launch towards the end of the year. It carries similar design cues as the Honda CB300R. 

As per sources, the electric AE-47 may get a 4kW hub motor linked to a 3.5kWh removable battery pack. Apart from the specifications, customers can expect it to be a feature-loaded bike. 

Moreover, they have also planned to take out electric scooters.

The Hero Electric AE-47’s expected price should be between Rs 80,000 and Rs 1,50,000. And if it gets a load of features, then expect the price to start at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
